There are two ways of making the Essiac Tea and they are both easy to make, one quicker than the other.
Preparation 1: Add 1 Litre of filtered water to 30g (3 scoops) of herbs. Stir and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off heat and leave on stove overnight. Do not strain. Following morning stir and pour brewed tea into a glass bottle container that has been sterilised with boiling water. Stored in fridge for no longer than 2 weeks. Do not freeze or microwave. Shake before use.
For General Health: Drink 100mls (1/2 cup) on an empty stomach, one hour before eating or two hours after eating.
Advanced Boost: Drink 300mls of brewed tea daily. 100ml three times a day on an empty stomach. Maintain this dose for 6 months and switch to doses above.
For a Fast-Track Boost drink up to 550 ml of brewed tea daily, which is 180 ml three times a day on an empty stomach.
2:Preparation 2: Place 2 teaspoons (1 scoop) of tea into a 500ml plunger, leave to stand for 5 minutes, push the plunger down and pour. If you want to enjoy a fresh cup of Essiac Tea this is the quicker method.
